Located just a 3-hour drive from Calgary, Alberta and only 20 minutes from Invermere, BC west of the Rocky Mountain Trench in the Purcell range, Panorama Mountain Village is a completely self-contained ski in/ski out and golf resort.
In winter, the resort offers 2,847 acres (11.52 sq km) of skiable lift-served terrain. It boasts one of the longest vertical drops in North America at 4,000 ft (1,200 m), the famed Panorama Snow School, trails for every level of ability and an emphasis on family fun. Heli-skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing and even dog-sledding are also popular wintertime activities.
Surrounded by creeks, lakes, forests, and mountains, summertime activities include golfing at the award-winning, championship Greywolf Golf Course, considered by golf Digest to be one of the top 10 courses in Canada. There are also hiking and mountain biking on the many alpine trails in the area, white-water rafting on nearby Toby Creek, the Kids Adventure Camp, horseback riding, fishing, yoga, tennis and special events for families.
There are pools in which to swim, hot tubs, saunas, spa services, a pub, a lodge and seasonally-operated restaurants within the village.
